Using TPM's aggregation of the latest poll numbers, here is the current state of the electoral battleground. I'm even keeping in Rasmussen polls to give the GOP an unwarranted bump in their numbers.

Michigan, New Mexico and Wisconsin really aren't swing states anymore. And while Missouri doesn't feel like a swing state anymore, it sports a closer margin than most of the other states on this list. In fact, other than Iowa, nothing on this list looks particularly tight at the moment.

Romney's ahead by less than five in Iowa.

Obama's ahead by less than five in Pennsylvania, Florida, and North Carolina.

1. Looks about right ... Obama has multiple paths to the magic number.

Romney has to get a clean sweep to even get close to the magic number.

I used to think that our electronic vote counting machines were where our problem lies but lately I've noticed that many of my neighbors and friends and used to be friends are as nasty of a bunch of pukes as you can get. Our leaders wouldn't even give the President the benefit of the doubt and show him some respect when he came to OK a couple weeks ago.

I'm not convinced that AZ, IA, and possibly MO will go red. I have seen multiple polls that have the President up over Rmoney in Arizona. There are enough Hispanics there to swing the vote. I dare say this could happen in Texas, too, if the Mittster continues to say really stupid stuff.

We're not just Republican down here, we're tribally Republican. Half my neighbors would vote for Judas Iscariot if he go the Republican nomination. A few of my Baptist neighbors are close to convinced that's who they're getting, ignorant feebs.

8. It is my understanding that Obama

has a huge ground game in Iowa. A couple of visits by Obama to Iowa this fall and it goes blue. IMHO

9. Iowa will flip, I wouldn't be surprised if WV does too

unless something unforeseen happens. The anti-Mormon backlash on the right is only getting started and the evangelicals in IA and WV will not be reliable supporters for Rmoney.
