What is he hiding?
This man should not be allowed near the presidency - transparency is missing - he is hiding his money overseas.

(2,682 posts)I'd be the absolute LAST one to defend Willard, but, we must be fair, musn't we? I, along with the rest of the Dems, would like to see Willard's tax returns for the last ten years -- let's see where and how he got his wealth and where he's storing it now. However, many people file extensions of their tax returns. My daughter works for an accounting office and they are busy doing just that for the next couple of days. There's nothing nefarious about it -- the more complicated the return, the more likely an extension will be filed in order for accountants to amass the amount of information required.
Now that being said, let's go after the SOB for the real issues: anti-women, anti-labor, anti-gay, anti- well, you name it, he's against it (unless he's for it -- depends on the audience he is wooing). He signs on to the Ryan government debilitation plan with glee. His vision of America (massive unemployment, swaths of deaths due to lack of health care, oceans of homeless) are the very things we should shout out against him. He and his ilk must NOT be allowed in positions of power where they might implement their plan of total destruction.

(42,609 posts)Its not that unusual, particularly for more complex tax returns. I have no doubt that it will be filed before the October 15 deadline -- in fact, my guess is that he files it earlier than that simply to get the story behind him during the summer months. Look for it to be filed and released some Friday afternoon in July or early August when people aren't paying that close attention to the news.

Being as Romney started out rich and got richer running a hedge fund, I'm very interested in his money.

(22,308 posts)so he is putting off filing/paying as long as possible.
If he does have something to hide then he should try to get it out sooner rather than later. The longer he waits the better for us.
