Former executive director of the South Carolina GOP, Trayvon Martin clairvoyant, ethics-free attorney, and avid penis self-photographer Todd Kincannon is proudly pro-life with one exception, of course, in that he wishes Wendy Davis had been aborted. But he also recognizes that sometimes, in the face of a serious health crisis, you just need to man up and kill everyone whos been infected or exposed. At Wonkette, we are sometimes given to exaggeration. But this is not an exaggeration: in a series of tweets on Saturday, Todd Kincannon, not satisfied with rightwing prescriptions like travel bans or embargoes on affected nations, literally advocated killing all Ebola patients, and napalming their villages for good measure, too. And we mean literally literally, not Joe Biden literally:

Somebody (Jon Stewart?) did a spoof in which one of the Republicans said he was late to the debate due to a multi-car pile-up - and the audience cheered.

(115,070 posts)Heck, there are a lot of dangerous, nasty communicable diseases out there. Why not just euthanize everybody who tests positive for things like measles, mumps, chicken pox, or influenza? All of those diseases are capable of killing, so why not just nip 'em in the bud?
(which should be obvious)
Seriously, doesn't it make you want to puke that a guy who thinks like this represented a major political party in his state? What does it say about that party? OK, that was a rhetorical question. It just scares me that there are people like this who are taken seriously by a lot of people.

Some consider that a perversion, but what's really weird is the lack of compassion for other people. Hope he gets professional help. Sufficiently insane for the pukes to push him as a presidential candidate in 2024.

(115,070 posts)Say you've got some symptoms that could be Ebola, and you live in a city where there could have been some exposure. Ebola is 60% - 90% fatal, but getting diagnosed with it is 100% fatal. So since you don't know whether you have it you decide to take your chances and stay home, untreated and unquarantined, and your family, not wanting to alert the authorities, looks after you in a normal sort of way, including maybe by washing your dirty laundry at the laundromat like they've always done. So if it's Ebola the disease spreads to other people, who also don't go to a hospital for fear of the consequences, and they continue to spread it. If it's actually something else, say malaria or flu, you don't seek treatment either because you aren't sure what it is and you're afraid they'll put you down like a rabid dog if it turns out to be Ebola. So you stay home, get sicker with whatever you do have and spread that to other people. Now there's a real epidemic that's maybe worse than a few isolated cases of Ebola.
Good thinking, Todd.
Evil often is also really stupid.

(80,522 posts)They're NOT "pro-life." It's not possible.
I have seen way too many so-called "pro-lifers"...
CHEER for executions,
CHEER for war,
CHEER for blowing away all those annoying hostile brown people,
CHEER for funding cuts for the poor, cheer the sequester and funding cuts for the NIH and the CDC, cheer when hospitals and clinics are closed because (GASP!!!!) they might be doing abortions (and maybe that's the ONLY medical care available at all in some of these rural areas...),
CHEER for obstructing the Affordable Care Act,
CHEER for letting sick people just die because they're denied care,
CHEER for cutting back, or cutting altogether, programs that help families, young families, low-income families, single heads-of-households, children born into poverty because women can't get access to birth control,
CHEER when they do away with sex education in schools,
CHEER when they do away with objective science being taught in schools,
CHEER when they restrict or completely do away with access birth control.
So given that, how can they POSSIBLY claim they're "pro-life"?

Kill Anyone Who Has Come In Contact With Ebola, Says Former SC GOP Director
Social Buzz
By James Kosur, Published October 5, 2014
Todd Kincannon, the former general counsel and executive director of the South Carolina Republican Party, has come under fire yet again, this time for suggesting that everyone who has come in contact with Ebola should be quickly murdered.
................
In a string of tweets posted on Saturday afternoon, the often controversial pro-lifer spoke out in support of swift executions with no mercy.

(9,350 posts)It does not matter what this guy says; he is not pro-life. He wants to take life away from anyone who does not look and/or think like him. He is a jerk and a wimp. The sad part is that there are people who like, follow, and agree with him. The stuff that this guy said in his tweets would get him a standing ovation with a number of Republican crowds.
