BY ROBIN FITZGERALD
JACKSON COUNTY -- Sheriff's officials said a woman caught burglarizing students' cars at East Central High School claimed she was looking for members of ISIS, the world's deadliest terrorist group.
Investigators believe there is no merit to the woman's claim, spokeswoman Cherie Ward said.
Deputies arrested Lisa Carol Roche, 41, of Hurley, Friday afternoon.
Officials said her children attend classes at the school.

(16,254 posts)There are going to be some interesting viewings at funerals in the future, if not already.
Add the hardware in noses, earlobes, lips, etc. I see one handsome young man at the local hardware store who is "growing" his earlobes to a larger hole and I have to cringe and shudder at the process. I hope that when he comes to his senses, the holes tighten back up.
Don't diss me, people. Not everyone approves of using the human body as a canvas. I have held my tongue for years and not criticized, so allow me to do so now.
Thanks. I feel better to know I'm not the only one.

(41,901 posts)Sadly, they have a whole lot to monger to. I'm the first to admit I have a lot of love for the good aspects of the state, and that there are many. But Lord, Mississippi-generated comments sections are a whole 'nother world. Every damn time a bomb threat is called in to a school, a mysterious powder shows up, a meth lab explodes, the local media is quick to tie it in to terrorism, and, as with everywhere else near as I can tell, half the people don't actually read the article before they freak out. I can't figure out if I'm amused or horrified or sad or what.
My fervent prayer is that we can salvage the good in that state and help those poor bastards that don't know better.
Bless their hearts.
