Did you know this is Emergency Nurses Week?

And October 8 is Emergency Nurses Day.

So I'd just like to say THANK YOU to our nurses here for the wonderful job you do.

... I've been truly impressed by the work of the nurses, even though so many of them are overworked and underappreciated. There is a nursing shortage in this country and it's predicted it's going to get exponentially worse in the coming years.

If so, it's a fake shortage. They just don't want to hire more nurses and haven't figured how to offshore them.

When I think back to my medical situations over the years, it seems to be the nurses who stand out in my memory the most!
