GOP Pulls Plug on Michigan

"Republicans are canceling TV ad spending planned for the final two weeks of Michigan's U.S. Senate race, signaling that the GOP is investing in other races in its drive for the Senate majority," the AP reports.

"Other outside groups, too, are bailing on Michigan, suggesting it's fallen out of reach" for Terri Lynn Land (R) in her race against Gary Peters (D).

That would show what races the GOP is worried about
and where Dems ought to step up their efforts.

The Kochs have given a shit-ton of money to Martha McSally's campaign, so she's running back-to-back attack ads on Ron Barber.

you will find plenty of Koch money still floating around. Rumor has it, they have plenty to waste and it's always fun to watch them lose any amount.

The Tillis ads make me want to throw up. Wondering is the Michigan money headed this way? Saw a political sign for suceeddixie.com or some such today, on the roadside.

I will be so glad when this is over.

and asked if I was mad about abortions, the XL Pipeline not being built, the Affordable Care Act, and a bunch of other crap and I always answered as a Democrat.

Their last question alwaysa wanted to know what party I was and who I'd vote for, and my answer was always the same, regardless of how many polls they took,... Democrat....

Oh, if only they hadn't gerrymandered Speaker Bonior's old district . . . now we can't get rid of Rep Candice Miller. Oh hell.

I saw a semi-truck today with a Land for Senate poster on its rear door today. I believe it was Equity trucking, I'll never send any of my non-existing freight with that company.

I am so proud that our very red, rural potion, state may have begun to see the light. I can only hope that Mark Schauer can beat "Mr. Geek" Dick Snyder. I saw an ad for him that claimed he was non-partisan in his governing. What a joke! I hope Schauer can ride Peter's coat tails into the governorship.

Go Blue! (University of Michigan football has made it difficult to cheer that with confidence of late)

If they did they would be expanding the map, not shrinking it. My gut feeling is that the Republican chances of taking the Senate are basically even, and perhaps a little less than that given the Roberts race in Kansas.

...that the political/mass media complex doesn't work anymore for politics, and that the FF button now rules the universe? Get a clue folks, unless you are comatose.
Nobody in their right minds can endure the continuous blasting, flickering, boring and obnoxious political ads for more than one second before they hit fast forward.
Howard Dean came to that conclusion long ago, and experienced the wrath of the MSM for questioning their cash cow.
Dump your media consultants, they must be getting a kickback from TV stations.
Start spending money on people instead. All politics is local
