Could it be that it's because Boehner is their congressman ?

Study finds binge drinking in Butler County Ohio is higher than state and national average.

A recent study finds adults in Butler County are getting a bigger buzz compared to people living in other areas in the Tri-State.

According to Greater Cincinnati Community Health Status Survey, Butler County adults engage in binge drinking more than adults in Greater Cincinnati. The study found 26 percent of Butler County adults binge drunk compared to 20 percent across the region. Both numbers higher than the national rate at 17 percent.

However, the report found Butler County is similar to other areas in the region in regards to how many people are drinking alcohol. In Butler County and Greater Cincinnati about half of the adults drink alcohol and about one in 20 are heavy drinkers.

Sounds like a great reason to me - pass the bottle mate.

I'm sure Butler County has a great number of wonderful people but it seems like their overall "persona" is ass-hat.

The county sheriff is certifiable. Last month he sent a bill to the Mexican government for the cost of (in his words) "the wetbacks he has to host in his jail". Today he was providing his expert critique on Obama's ISIS strategy.

All of which pales in comparison to his veiled threat to the big local cineplex up there, supposedly mentioning to the manager at the time that "Milk" wasn't likely a movie that our community would appreciate. True ??? I don't know but Milk played at every other outlet of that cinema chain - except Westchester OH (in the heart of Butler County).

He's our own local Apparo without the PR blitz.

OK - rant off.
