Sunday Talk Shows

Meet The Press
The fight over women voters will be a key battle this campaign. It was evident this week after comments by Democratic strategist Hilary Rosen about Ann Romney ignited a firestorm causing Obama campaign officials, and even the president himself, to weigh in. How will the gender gap factor into the 2012 election? Joining us for a debate: Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) and former presidential candidate Rep. Michele Bachmann
(Can't wait to see my Senator in this debate)

The president and his team use fairness and taxes as talking points this week to paint his likely opponent, Mitt Romney, as out of touch with the middle class. Is raising taxes on the country’s wealthiest the answer? Plus, a disappointing jobs report this month tempers the outlook for the economic recovery – what is the administration doing to help create jobs? Sunday, Secretary of the Treasury Tim Geithner will join us to talk about the economic recovery, the president’s plan, and what needs to be done to speed up hiring across America.

As we approach tax day, is the president’s message of fairness on taxes a winning ticket for the fall? Plus, we’ll have more on the gender gap and which party is poised to benefit from what appears to the opening shots of the general election. Joining us to break it all down: former Rep. Harold Ford, Jr. Republican strategist Mike Murphy and NBC News’ Savannah Guthrie and Chuck Todd

ABC This Week
Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner goes one-on-one with George Stephanopoulos on the state of the economy, Sunday on "This Week."

As many Americans still struggle with a recovering economy, how will President Obama make his case for re-election? Is the latest jobs report a sign of a slowdown in growth, or is the economy headed in the right direction? Can the administration do anything to address continued concern over high gas prices?

And as the White House lays out its case for "tax fairness," can Washington keep the country from going off a "fiscal cliff" on expiring tax cuts and another looming battle over cutting the deficit at the end of the year? Timothy Geithner responds, Sunday on "This Week."

Then, as Rick Santorum bows out of the presidential race, giving Mitt Romney a clear path to the Republican nomination, the general election kicks off with the continued war over the women's vote. Will Ann Romney's high-profile role in the debate over women this week help Mitt Romney close the gender gap with President Obama? And with the nomination in hand, who will Romney turn to as his potential vice presidential pick?

Our powerhouse roundtable weighs in on all the week's politics, with ABC News' Cokie Roberts; former Obama domestic policy adviser Melody Barnes; Wall Street Journal editorial page editor Paul Gigot , advisor to the Romney campaign Kevin Madden; and Katrina vanden Heuvel, editor and publisher of The Nation.

This week George Zimmerman was charged with second-degree murder in the killing of Trayvon Martin, an unarmed teenager in Florida on February 26. Zimmerman wasn't initially charged thanks to Florida's Stand-Your-Ground laws, but since February the case has made its way to the national stage and brought up questions of race and racism. We'll look at these issues with Georgetown University's Michael Eric Dyson, TIME Magazine Columnist Toure, CBS News Legal Analyst Jack Ford and CBS News Correspondent Mark Strassman. Toure wrote a fascinating book titled, "Who's afraid of Post-Blackness: What It Means to be Black Now." We'll hear from him about what it means, and how that affects this case. Strassmann actually broke the Trayvon Martin story nationally on March 8 with an interview with Trayvon's father, and he's closely followed the case and Trayvon's family since then. We'll talk to Mark about that and get his thoughts on the case going forward.

Our politics roundtable with Democratic strategist Maria Cardona, Washington Post editorial writer Ruth Marcus, and our own Norah O'Donnell and John Dickerson will look at all of these topics, too, particularly these "Mommy Wars."

Univision’s “Al Punto,”
Reince Priebus, an interview with President Obama taped before he left Friday for Florida and Colombia for the the Summit of the Americas over the weekend.

Fox News Sunday

CNN State of The Union
An interview with legendary actor/comedian/writer/producer/activist Bill Cosby He talks about politics, the Trayvon Martin shooting, and the reopening of the historic Howard Theater in Washington D.C.

And as the Presidential Campaign transitions to the General Election, some Republicans still have reservations about Mitt Romney’s ability to beat President Obama. We'll ask RNC Chairman Reince Priebus how he plans to unify the party.

We’ll also discuss the battle for women voters in 2012 and ask if the campaign rhetoric is over the top. Our guests are Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-NY) and Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA)

And we’ll round out campaign politics with Dan Balz of The Washington Post and Matt Bai of The New York Times

Chris Hayes week-end shows are really very good. I don't like it when he subs for Rachel, but he's very good on his own show.
