‘God TV’ In Shambles After Founder Leaves Wife For Mistress, Abandons Network

God TV, one of the biggest Christian television networks in the world, is in complete disarray after its founder left his wife to move to South Africa with his girlfriend.

According to Wendy Alec, her husband Rory was seduced by a “Jezebel” jazz musician and had begun having an affair. Citing Satan, Wendy claimed that the woman stole her husband for ungodly reasons and the two have fled Israel (where God TV is based) to live on a farm in South Africa. For his part, Rory admits that he is now living with the woman but denies that she was sent by Satan.

In the Burning Times, they'd try to force you to confess. But, if you were a minion of Satan, you couldn't confess, it was in the contract. Satan wouldn't allow it.

If you didn't confess, you must be guilty, so they'd hang/burn/stone you. Your progeny were disinherited and all your property was confiscated. It often went to your accuser, to reward him/her for fighting Satan.

So, if you confessed, you obviously weren't guilty.

BUT, they'd banish you and dispossess your progeny to something like the third generation, because you confessed...

Banishment meant walking to some settlement where you weren't known in the hopes they'd take you in. Of course they wouldn't because any woman walking alone would be suspected of being suspected of witchcraft.

Religion is always this logical.

You got a 3rd eye on your forehead?

I think it's only fair to Satan's wife sent to the godly man if she is vindicated by the terrible things done by the first wife who was REALLY sent by Satan (fact, not opinion) and the couple has justification for their actions.

All first wives aren't perfect and gawd-chosen either, and if Satan has this guy pegged, he will go thru a string of Satan's picks. He's a victim, poor thing.

Kidding aside, i always viewed mega churches or tv pastors with suspicion. When your ministry gets into the realm of big money, there are legitimate concerns this might just be a sham operation.

I thought the whole universe was god TV.....

BTW.... what the hell is the "American Heroes Channel" and when the hell did it appear?

I don't watch much TV but I have all the cable bells and whistles at the beach house for guests to enjoy (and I do at times of course). So one of my friends had left it on American Heroes Channel. They were in the middle of something about the stupid Shroud of Turin (again? Still?) and next up was "Mysteries of the Bible". An ad came on for "Ancient Assassins", a show about ninjas and Sparta and Thugs (the Indian kind) and stuff like that.
These are "American heroes"??????

Can't we already get these lame shows on "The History Channel"?

Males are not considered to have agency over their own sexuality, and when they "sin", the woman is generally considered responsible. Hence the restrictions on women, the segregation of genders, the insistence on "modest" clothing, among other things.
