I seriously doubt she looks at the prices of foods and goods she buys, if she buys them.

But your point is well-taken: give more families the choice of someone staying at home to be with the kids without having to live at or below poverty.

You are right ...she wouldn't have a clue. Also....due to the fact that her family has benefitted from the flat wages of the last 30+ years, she owes all hardworking parents a huge debt.

So I would support practically any conclusion you might draw from this fact about these two very close, very loving people.

What with maids, butlers, nannies, car elevator maintenance, Chef wages... multiple mansions to furnissh and keep ready. yes a living wage would be about 200 million bucks...

Have to add: This whole arguement shows just how far out of touch the Romneys are.
When you have access to untold millions of dollars since you were a kid, when you just have to cash in some stocks to have extra cash while in college, YOU DO NOT GET IT. There are people who truly struggle out there, you know Mitt, the people you like to FIRE (insert smirk here)

When you try to equate staying at home in one of your many multi-million dollar homes, providing elevators for your many automobiles, with a working mom and dad is further proof you have that classic: "let them eat cake attitude."
These guys are so out of touch with OUR reality it is almost tragically comic.
