FERGUSON/ST. LOUIS POLICE BRUTALITY

I am hoping that the lack of attention to Riverwalker's post is just due to where it was posted. The video was put together yesterday from some live streams. Live streams since Michael Brown was murdered in cold blood.

The absolute, unbelievable, horrid, illegal treatment of peaceful protesters by cops in Missouri is that which movies are made.

The absolute resolve, bravery and steadfast passion for the cause, to end the Government sanctioned, militant, police brutality of all, and the senseless, nightmarish, murders of our young black men, and to demand justice is more than inspiring.

Please click on Riverwalker's post and watch the video.

The late 60s, early 70s. And last night was just as bad. Tear gassed, hit with night sticks and arrested for peaceful protest. Chief of police from St. Louis again lied. Two stories of rock thrown near him. 4 live streams, store surveillance camera and cop body cams and not one picture of anything thrown by protesters. But there's video of more police brutality.

Sick. It needs to end!

than). The WaPo noted that its reporters saw no, repeat ZERO, rocks thrown at any point, but dryly conceded its reporters were complying with a police request to confine themselves to a designated 'press' area. WTF? I guess the days of Woodward and Bernstein are but a distant memory.

So glad there is the technology for everyone having cameras and being able to share this with the world. So sorry this is happening in this day and age. We should be way past having to do this.

If there is a over majority white PD in a majority black community how could any one be shocked. A recipe for disaster knowing that black employment in this city's gvt is lower than low. It's a big red flag warning problem ahead.

But this seems extreme to me and to many. The blatant brutality and outright, boldfaced lies are just unreal. Especially with the press right there.

I am not a stranger to this, nor do I have a hard time believing it is happening. It is the extent and the audacity that surprises me. I remember when the press kept the cops in check. At least to some degree. Not here. Not now. Not with a government that sanctions it.

At least in the early 70s and mid to late 60s, the DOJ got involved and did something. Even if it was only to keep the local government in line to some extent. The DOJ has politely declined any prosecution, so far, in these murders.

I cannot believe that there is not ONE SINGLE SOLITARY COP in the US that is standing up against this shit. Not one.

If I was young, I would be right out there with them. Leading the chants! We are lucky in that we have the internet now and we can be there with them in more than just spirit. We can be right there with them in the livestreams. I have stayed up the last two nights till early morning hours with them.

Kind of addicted to it. And old or not, I would have been there if I could have afforded. I even rented a car because I couldn't find anyone going and coming back in one day. Couldn't afford a hotel. But, I thought I could get someone to go with me to help with gas and couldn't. No one wanted to drive 5 hours each way in one day. And the one person that would have gone the one way with me wanted to stay but couldn't find a ride back

Oh well, I donated my gas and food money.

You rock!
