I haven't seen a livestream link for that one yet. Anyone interested should check Wisconsin media for info on coverage.

CSPAN blew it. What I've seen so far seems terribly one-sided. The moderator says things to Mitch like: and that is backed up by the facts (after his fantasyland spewing), but then Allision seems to be given less time to answer, and is interrupted by this moderator (who seems like a real jerk).

Maybe the part I missed wasn't so bad...?

- In particular the portion of the debate regarding the ACA and Kynect, Grimes stood solidly in support of healthcare for the people, while McConnell waffled a bit on it, citing the costs incurred and the relatively small number of families whose premiums increased. I believe the number were something like 850,000 benefiting under Grimes' plan, while the 15,000 were more important to McConnell.

What is puzzling is why both concentrated on the coal industry, a very small sector of the Kentucky employed.

AG presented herself strongly imo, with MM looking like the insider he is.

The coal barons are kings. That's why they both fight for that small percentage. The problem in coal country is that when the coal jobs went away, there was nothing to take their place. People are in a bad situation there and they need to blame someone.

I was proud of Alison... she was strong, prepared, and didn't allow that bastard to bully her.

Sometimes I'm a bit slow...

Alison was much stronger than I expected, and while she may not quite have made turtle soup, she did paint with graffiti on his hard-headed shell!

"she did paint with graffiti on his hard-headed shell!"

I love this!!! I know what I'd like to paint on old turtle-head...

She did well, but her father was in politics... friend of Bill Clinton's, so she's not a novice and she has won a state-wide position. I was surprised and pleased at how well she did. Now we see if Kentucky can see through McConnell's lies.

And yes.... 'old money'... Coal rules and they don't want to give up their power.

Here's hoping Alison wins... best thing that could happen for this country.

She can do better. She was somewhat hindered by the format. She is by far the superior candidate.
