If the women talking heads on FOX looked more like Margaret Thatcher or Queen Elizabeth than some Playboy centerfold FOX wouldn't have anywhere near the ratings they have now.

when someone asks who I voted for is "Go fuck yourself", perhaps Mitchell would have been mollified by that response. At the very least it's what she deserves.

If you're looking for a way to avoid admitting that, I guess that was as good as any. But not being able to come out as a 2008 & 2012 Democrat is a pretty embarrassing position for a 2014 Democrat to be in.

If, on the other hand, she did vote for Obama in 2008 and 2012, but now doesn't want to admit it, that's shameful. A Democrat shouldn't run from a simple, obvious vote that over half the voters in the country managed to do.

I'm not troubled by the fact that Grimes voted for Obama;
I'm not troubled by the fact that she can't admit that in Kentucky;
And I'm not troubled by the fact that she's trying, however unsuccessfully, to claim a right to privacy on teh matter.

But...

I AM troubled by the fact that the idiots running her campaign didn't see this coming and deal with it months ago; and
I AM troubled by the fact that their ineptness may cost us a pick-up; and
I AM troubled by the phrase "Mitch McConnell, majority leader."

This is not on the MSM, much as I loathe them. This is pure, utter incompetence on the part of the Grimes campaign.

She had to at least know the question would be asked. I dont get why she is avoiding answering the question
Everybody assumes she voted for Obama.

She does have the right not to answer the question, but Mitch has the right to use her lack or response against her.

I think its a fair question to ask. I wouldnt ask that to a coworker, but I see nothing wrong asking the question to a politician.

Everybody knows it was Obama so why hide. If she keeps ducking the question it will be asked more and more.

And give Mitch the soundbite he's been looking for. The Grimes campaign knew this was coming - they were not blindsided. I guess she should defend the President at all costs?? Even though the President never gave her a second thought when he threw her under the bus?

"while I don't agree with some of Obama's policies I did feel he was a better candidate than either of the GOP's offerings and I cast my vote accordingly"

Granted one's vote should be private but anything that in effect said "Hello? I'm a member of the Democratic party, who do you think I voted for?" would have been better optically.

Obama haters aren't going to vote for her anyway and people who support the POTUS are turned off by the whole brouhaha. Yesterday I sent an email to my Senator, Jean Shaheen, and told her she should be honored to have the President campaign with her. What's wrong with Democratic candidates . . . have they all had their spines removed? Back to Grimes . . . she should be beating the Kentucky healthcare situation like a drum. She could get the votes of the 500,000 who enrolled if they realized it is "Obamacare" and Mitch wants to take it away.
