If they vote like Republicans, they are no better than Republicans. That's the only measure that has any relevance to our lives.

I am surprised to read this from you. You have issued many OPs bemoaning the Third Way Democrats. And for good reason.

Since unlimited elite money can be spent.

It will take some rich liberals to just decide to go full Koch, but they tend to hold on to their money. Buffet, Soros, they could start buying elections, but that's antithetical to liberalism.

The Kentucky Democratic Party has IIRC 30 full-time staff. That would never have happened under the ancien regime.

Absent infinite amounts of money, DCCC, DSCC, DGA, DNC et al can't contribute to every campaign. In the last three weeks before an election, decisions have to be made where the available funds can be best used.
