Obama To Blame For Stagnating Wages?!. Now I Know We Are A Deluded Nation.

Even after all the rhetoric supporting a rise in the minimum wage coming from Obama and his support for better jobs American blame him for low wages. Facts do not seem to matter any more. As long as voters keep giving the GOP power and stay anti union and anti federal government wages will continue to stagnate and go down.

Even after scores of GOPPERS say they are against higher wages voter keep voting for them. How far from reality will we go?. None of what is going on makes any sense. Do Americans really believe that a market based wage sans a minimum wage will mean more pay.

We seem to be as deluded as the Germans were about the Nazis when it comes to so many important issues.

You can't take credit for a 'good economy' and then ignore the bad things or blame them on someone else. People will not let someone have it both ways.

If one says that Obama can't take credit for some improvement in the economy unless he also takes the blame for damage done by republicans, that lets the latter off the hook for their right wing economic policies. republicans would love to blame all of the economy's problems on Obama.

Our economy is made up of tens of millions of decisions that are made everyday. If you are a hyper-partisan it is SOP to blame the other party for any bad things in the economy. It is far, far, more complicated. We are tied into the global economy and no president can do anything about that.

They just chuck around the tritest platitudes and tap-dance. You'll bang your head against the wall in futility arguing with them.

Like this:

Cause we're sending all our jobs to China

Yeah, the republicans/conservatives chasing after lower wages.

Yeah, 'cause the greedy unions made it too expensive for companies to stay here

No, unionization has shrunk to the point of near irrelevance. Companies want to pay foreign employees even less than minimum wage is here. The loss of those good jobs is also lowering demand for good/services here.

Because of all of Obama's regulations and taxes making business want to leave

What regulations specifically? He's also maintained the Bush tax cuts.

Well....he's a Kenyan black soshulist [ SIC ] that hates god and wants to take away my guns"

Me: Sigh....groan.
