In other words, the CDC had the money it needed to take care of the Ebola issue?

Disband the freaking military and spend our tax dollars on saving lives instead of destroying them.

(21,846 posts)Like everything else Republicans say, it has no facts or anything else to support it.
Also, interesting how a Texas for-profit hospital and a state with many uninsured (refused to do ACA)is at the apex of the Ebola issue. Even if CDC had money, what could it do?

(5,043 posts)I would ask
1) if the republican knows what the CDC budget is
2) what is it compared to, say 10 years ago
3) if they know what the CDC actually does
4) if they can give an example of a CDC core mission or project, along with their proposed budget and a real justification that their budget will get the job done.
Absent a demonstration that the person can intelligently address these questions, I'd say they were talking out of their ass.
