I hope this turns into a big deal, I mean what a stupid thing to lie about.

(15,800 posts)Might be a good idea to post this in the Colorado forum as well.
Gotta love the "no reply" from his campaign. That's the standard response from him to constituents since he's been in office. Any responses otherwise are to oil companies, photo op offers, or potential donors; everyone else simply doesn't exist in his world.

(31,849 posts)If not ... Please do. Then, wonder what the editorial board was thinking ... they start out by lamenting the grid-lock and ineffectiveness of congress, then endorse a "force to be reckoned with" of the party that is causing the grid-lock and ineffectiveness.
Wait ... It gets better ...
They state that Udell's position on the issues are closer to theirs; yet, the endorse Gardner, whose positions on the issues don't jibe.
And more, they pretty much say, "Oh ... and his extreme position on social/cultural issues? Yeah, he has them, but he's stopped talking about them, so they don't matter."
And just for tickles, I'll include the most ridiculous part of the endorsement ... they applaud Gardner as more than a "term-server" because he is giving up a relatively safe seat in the House, to pursue a seat in the Senate! Let's see???? Stand for election every 2 years versus every 6 years ... be a member of the "100 Club" or the "1 of 436 Club" ... rule over (half) a state versus rule over a few 10,000 people ... Gee, what to do? What to do?

Always have thought Gary Hart would have made a great president.
