The nurses who fear retaliation: Why work for such a crappy employer anyway?

We're talking about a recession proof, nationally available job. There are shortages all over the country. If THP acted so negligent and still isn't forthcoming, what more is there to protect? Leave while you can!

being overworked, underpaid, liability issues. There are lots of nurses available who would be glad to work in decent situations, where the jobs are few and far between.

Maybe they are in intimate relationships with people who can't move away. There are many reasons to stay put.

Unions in my area are very rare and very few places even let you get a job unless you promise not to organize. It's sad but true.
