Stamp Money out of Politics overtakes Where's George?

15 years ago, Hank Eskin started WheresGeorge.com, a website dedicated to tracking bills as they travel across the country http://www.wheresgeorge.com/.

Since then it has become the biggest money stamping project of all time, with a total of 242 MILLION bills entered and circulated. But lately there has been a lot of chatter about the Stampede among the 'Georgers', as they’re called. Dedicated Georgers often go to the bank and get ‘straps’ of 1000 one dollar bills to stamp, and when they go through them, they've been finding Stampede bills at the same rate as Where’s George bills!

Here’s what Hank Eskin himself had to say to us about their extraordinary findings:

“I've been running WG for 15 years, and you've been stamp stampeding for what, two years? And now people are finding just as many SS bills as WG bills… Wow. Just wow.”

Read that again. Just as many, in just two years.
