(10,201 posts)A building at a college in Southern California is evacuated because someone who has never been to that building was near someone who was absent from that building, because that other person has flu like symptoms and they fear ebola?
By that same logic I have probably had sex with Tom Cruise.

I think I am way more afraid of the reaction of people than I am of the actual disease.

Ebola is seriously risky for those who have had actual contact with an actual patient, especially one who is in the advanced stages of the illness, and especially if PPE equipment and protocols are inadaquate. It is not risky for someone who had contact with someone who was on a plane with someone who was beginning to develop the earliest symptoms, and it's not risky for someone who's been in contact with someone who was in the same state as someone who passed through with early Ebola symptoms.
This is getting simply rididculous.
