Why isn't President Obama hammering the repukes on their blocking the pick for Surgeon General?

I could see him slipping that in casually, as opposed to hammering it.

or "slipping it in" ... while scoring rah rah points with DU is not his style ... he fixes the problem, then talks about it. Talking before it is resolved, will be seen by the general public as "passing the buck."

And I approve that stance.

That said, the entire Democratic caucus should be the ones hammering and slipping the point.
