Aaron Hernandez of the New England Patriots has killed multiple Americans.
Ebola has killed zero.
Calm the fuck down.

*** Or are exposed to people whose fluids carry the Ebola virus.
It is a little more complicated than your post actually portrays, and reasonable precautions by reasonable people need to be maintained.
Just because some people are acting like their hair is on fire is no reason to minimize the real and serious risks that people who are actually WORKING WITH EBOLA PATIENTS face.
It is like saying, "you aren't in danger of dying from a house fire if you aren't IN a house fire" while ignoring the risks that firefighters (who run INTO burning houses) face.
A little common sense is needed.

(10,559 posts)that has been happening in Africa, but it is a pretty fairy tale.
There are currently two confirmed cases of nurses who have gotten Ebola while taking care of "Patient Zero" in the United States.
One had a low grade fever and got on a plane. If she wiped a sweaty brow, then touched the door of the plane bathroom, she exposed a bunch of people to the virus.
Her family also probably hugged her, maybe kissed her, etc. while she was visiting them. We will know if any of them contracted the disease in a few weeks.
I think this is a little bit bigger than the NFL, but your mileage may vary.

Ebola is clearly a bigger threat to public health than NFL players.
