The Royals going to the World Series has been so good for KC

The kids are all getting Hos haircuts. There was an article in the Star this morning about this modified Mohawk. And I just saw my first kid with one. It's really cute.

Royals clothing is everywhere. Stacks and stacks of T-shirts and hoodies. The T-shirt companies here in town are having a heyday with this.

There is Blue everywhere. All the city fountains are spurting blue water.

This is really fun.

Rooting for them too. Why not? It's more fun to watch sports when you have someone to root for, and the Royals are very appealing.

3. It's been a long

drought for the Twns, but the Twin Cities were really rockin' when they hosted World Series games. If everbody who claims to have attended game 7 of the 1991 World Series were really there (Jack Morris 1-0 over the Braves) then the Metrodome's seating capacity was 200,000.

A bitter loss and diminished a little bit by pitcher Guthrie's post-win shirt at the press conference and the bragging by some of the players.
