The tired stoner stereotypes and outright lies are so decades ago.

I really like the new, improved, TRUTHFUL, version !!!!!!!!!!

...despite the stereotypes. It's a catchy tune and funny (in the way that Reefer Madness made me laugh).

The new version crushes the old one like a grape!

I mean, in the course of a song, he goes from "I was gonna clean my room...but then I got high" to "I ruined my entire life because I got high". It seems a little much if he wasn't playing on those stereotypes.

It also reminds me of a poem written by a friend in high school...the only lines I remember are "Yesterday, I did drugs for the first time/I injected 4 whole marijuanas/next day I was on the streets/beating up old ladies for coke money".

I don't use pot, ( did a ton of it a ways back) but I understand the benefits. He did a excellent job here.

This one is sublime. I absofuckinglutely LOVE IT!

I hope both efforts from this gentleman (do we know his name) have helped and will help to make his life financially comfortable since it's already clear his spirit is free...because he got high.

I loved the original too. Sure there's tired stereotypes, but that was the beauty of the original. It made fun of those stereotypes. Anyway, this person who uses regularly for a couple different health reasons is happy to see it remade in light of the new view on weed.

But as a near PSA, this made me happy-- it was accurate, truthful and funny.

When people use the wrong number of sounds when writing out song lyrics, it drives me nuts
