Nothing wrong with worry, but panicking would have just made things worse and is unnecessary imo.

Steps need to be taken to ensure we have facilities and staff able to treat patients with BS4 infectious diseases. We need to be proactive, and immediately infuse $$ into such an effort.

Because next time, it could be the real thing, and then we're all screwed.

Their first inclination was to attempt making political hay, but I suspect those orders were countermanded by those who stand to lose big-time if people stay home instead of participating in the annual Christmas Buy-a-Thon.
