Let's just bash the president to hell every step of the way. Let's just make stuff up, toss it against the wall and see if it sticks.

They are a sorry lot, aren't they Fred.

GOTV2014 and stop listening to the Koch owned media!

Go team!

Did you come here to bash our Democratic President a few weeks from the election? And by doing so seem to be bashing the Dems running.

Why is that?

I want to know why Grimes runs from all the work he's accomplished. What other senatorial candidates or house candidates have called for the President to campaign with them. How many have taken ownership of ACA or the debt reduction or the stock market surge?

You've been here forever Sheshe. From what I can tell you couldn't care less how Democrats behave so long as they're Democrats.

I have higher standards, I guess. Sorry.

You need to look at logistics and the states they are running from. Red State Blue State they have to run different races. Grimes is one of them and so is Davis. Both red states. Yes, yes I hear the cry for True Progressive or nothing, yet sorry, that is a pipe dream. This country has all sorts of folks. We have all sorts of Democrats that believe in the people, we should not and can not believe a party is of one mind. We are a party beautifully diverse that really wants to reach a goal for all the people.

Actually I have only been here for 2 years. I do believe in Democrats to take the lead...do we have some assholes? Yes we do.

Your standards are higher than mine, really? Good for you.

Do me a favor and don't define what I believe after 10 days. You do not know me.

Even when you poll red states they support virtually all progressive policies. Certainly that is the case with what the ACA has as well as what it should have had.

As for passing judgement, you did so in ten days. I've been reading DU since the Obama/McStain race in 2008. So look at the three fingers pointing back at you as you point the judgement finger at me.

never vote for a Republican. And it is an accepted given that, when elected to Congress, a politician will vote along party lines, no matter what they campaigned on or what their constituents prefer as policy.
Remember the Tea Party poster - "Keep your government hands off of my Medicare" - THAT is logistics in a nutshell.
Campaigning, now, is as much about firing up the base to actually go to the polls, as it is about issues. For the GOP base, mentioning Obama may be a surefire way to get them to the polls.
Logic, here, is meaningless. People vote against their best interests all the time. Obviously.

And since the colors of the states are immutable, why waste our time.

Perhaps we need better leadership, better candidates, and better "supporters".

Every facet of ACA polls well over 50% and she runs away?

What possible demographic is she hoping to reach by running from the President? None of his policies has been remotely progressive. If she tried, even just a little, to sell the Democratic brand rather than lazily and stupidly trying to brand herself as Republican Lite, she would easily win.
