Medicare premiums and costs for 2015 announced.

Most costs remain same as this year.
Soc. Sec. will increase 1.7%, same raise as Federal Employees get.

2. I think the Advantage plans went up

I talked to a neighbor the other day who was ranting that his health insurance went up because of Obamacare. On questioning, it turned out that he had a Medicare Advantage plan that had gone up. Couldn't convince him it had nothing to do with the ACA.

4. I DO know that Dr. costs went up right after the bill was signed.

My office visits and lab tests doubled.
Increased my Medicare co-pay amount.
So the Health Act increased Medicare costs.

5. My Advantage plan stayed the same.

And my GP isn't charging me any more.

This is open enrollment time, and perhaps those who find their plans have increased can change to another one.

I know I've gotten plenty of mailings from other providers who tell me they'd love to have me in their plan. For now I'm keeping the one I have.

3. I haven't heard from my Medicare supplement carrier yet about

rates for 2015. I expect them to stay about the same, as they have for several years.

Good news that the Part B premium isn't going up, and OK news about the COLA. It's not much, but I didn't expect much this year, either.
