Some do, some don't. What issue do you think we should care about - the one that overrides all others?

we ALL have different issues, depending on location, station, irradiation, whatever.
why would you expect me to be myopic and simplistic about something serious?
do you require documentation of the censorship and opinion mongering that people are paying extra for?

10. I suppose I didn't expect much based on your initial post

But perhaps I don't know what you mean by support - as that can be taken two different ways. Support financially by buying their product or support politically by supporting what they want to do politically. On reflection, though it seems clear that your argument is that DUers who purchase cable television are insane?

11. what do you think means more, your money or your vote?

and which do you really get to choose with?
clearly, the old label "progressive" has been sauteed a bit
over the years with the rightward march of American mainstream political
discourse and perception management.
Without defining that term, meaningless as it now is,
discussion is moot.
i think its pretty obvious people lean towards shooting their own sacred cows
when they spend their entertainment/communication budget on information deniers
and privacy violators.

But I'm still watching shows on Netflix and Hulu, and I still use a cable company for internet, so I suppose I'm either not a real progressive or insane.

think that their support of progressive issues requires them to forego providing any financial support to any entity that acts in a manner that is in some way or another inconsistent with the progressive position (to the extent there is a clearly identifiable position) on issues. I can hold and support progressive positions and still have cable service, Internet service, phone service, connect online with and sometimes buy products from a wide range of online providers, etc etc etc.
