jumped on some people who then rode the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, B, C, D, G, M, N, Q, R, and Times Square/GCT Shuttle trains. Maybe it transferred to a crosstown bus! Maybe the LIRR! Maybe it took the PATH to Jersey City! AAAAAAAAGH Maybe we can all self-quarantine for the next 3 weeks!

Seriously, there are so many other bad things that could actually happen to me that Ebola is waaaaay down on my worry "to do" list.

It got on a ferry to the Statue of Liberty. Even Ebola wouldn't go to Staten Island voluntarily.

You sure you want to go there?

If you're that frightened, try to think of Mr. Duncan's family. They stayed in close proximity to him when he was extremely contagious after the hospital had turned him away.

None of them got sick.

You won't, either.

I just get so sick and tired of this stuff, especially when it's coming from people who could read and inform themselves and from opportunistic politicians playing the Chicken Little game in the 10 days before an election.

and before one asks, i live in brooklyn and take the L train and go to the gutter to watch lisa bowling.

so just stop with all the drama.

An ebola victim with real projectile vomiting and diarrhea. I just can't make up my mind. I'm leaning towards the victim as the insane irreverent tastlessness of the idea is quite appealing to me, but it might require too much Ex-lax and ipecac for me to handle.

given how terrified they are of catching ANYTHING from strangers. I was born in 1948 and lived there until 1987. Try to guess how many times I saw people vomit on the subway platforms, in the cars, on the streets. Forget being crowded like a sardine in those cars and have somebody sneeze right in your face. They could not move their arms to cover their faces.

Quarantine 8 million people? Self-quarantine for colds, flu, etc., also.? Not going to happen. Personally, I think with all those germs being all around it probably builds up people's natural immunity to a lot of things.

New Yorkers are a tough lot and this is not going to have them hiding in their apartments in fear. I am back in NY visiting my kids for a couple of weeks. We will just go about doing what we planned to do. I am flying back from JFK. Will the moron Space Alien quarantine me flying in Florida from NY? He better NOT.

We're doomed. It is too late. We're all gonna die.

Except that he probably didn't infect anyone, and as long as the hospital uses proper protocols, he probably won't.

It's not proof of anything.

It really seems like some people are determined to see ebola take over the US. It's so twisted. There are things to worry about, and ebola is one of them, our shaky healthcare infrastructure is part of that, but the sky is not falling, and this doctor didn't do anything wrong. He self-monitored, and he reported in when he had symptoms. He is under medical care now. The system is actually working pretty well.

Wtf, man.
