If you mean threats to security, greenhouse gas is by far the more deadly threat. Not even close.

They will use their money and power to try and destroy most all the rest of us long before the planet is inhospitable.

They even have spots on luxury lifeboats for sale so they can be at sea when all the unpleasantness is going on.

If all goes per plan, once the planet gets that "On the Beach" San Francisco look, they'll pull into the dock and party on as if nothing has transpired. In their atrophied minds they think, "meritocracy," where money means survival of the richest.

One way or another, Mother Nature is going to clean up after our binge.

If we leave it all to her it's going to get very, very ugly for everyone, even the wealthy.

Mobs of humans who have been screwed over and have nothing left to lose don't respect the boundaries of civilized society.

When a civilization collapses it's usually the invisible poor who survive simply because there are so many of them.
