Evan Solomon of CBC news had a story on what Sergent Vickers

actions were at the time he killed the shooter in the Center Block of Parliament. He was on one side of a piller (a pillar against a wall) in a hall. The shooter was on the other side. They were an arm reach apart. Vickers could see the barrel of the gun. He dove around the pillar towards the ground at the shooters feet, shooting as he fell. What a hero. Talk about going all in.
