Air strikes and bombing wont work when we're unwilling to use them in a manner that maximize the effectiveness. That's is of course because these guys know we have an ultra slim threshold for allowable civilian casualties and so they move their operations deep into populated areas; schools, places of worship, apartment buildings, etc.

VP Biden said ISIS could be defeated without boots on the ground and I hope he had a justifiable reason for saying that (opposed to just being mouthy) because I don't want to pay for another war or see any more American soldiers die in the shit hole known as the Middle East.

If that means we start bombing places we otherwise wouldn't then IMO so be it.
