You know how you're going to vote, and the election will not be the blow out the media is trying to create for Rs. In fact, they could be getting it very wrong, JUST AS THEY HAVE IN OTHER RECENT ELECTIONS.
Chill out, vote next Tuesday, remind all your Dem friends to vote, and check back in next Wednesday morning.

(149,588 posts)We are also taking ALL of the glossy campaign materials and chucking them immediately into our recycle bin, without even looking at them (except to make sure that this is what they are).
It is the best way to survive the onslaught.
Oh, and we're also refusing to answer the phone for any number that has no name, or is otherwise unknown to us. We have a little machine that blocks a fair number of them as well. Funny, they never seem to want to leave messages.

(24,853 posts)TV and Radio are ENTERTAINMENT venues. I see these boards and hear from friends about their watching and listening to political TV and radio... It pisses them off. Sometimes I think that's WHY they watch and listen.
Makes me laugh.

I've never needed "political tv" to inform my political positions or affirm my choices.
