Ebola Governors versus Hero Nurse Kaci Hickox. (UPDATED)

UPDATE: Ebola Governor Lepage Caves To Science, Unable to get Judge to Reject the Science

Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.”

“Seven Deadly Sins

Wealth without work
Pleasure without conscience
Science without humanity
Knowledge without character
Politics without principle
Commerce without morality
Worship without sacrifice.”
― Mahatma Gandhi

A headline I would like to see in the freaky M$M who dismissively call Kaci Hickox and other super heroes "ebola nurse" would refer to the "ebola Governors" as such and Kaci Hickox by name.

These cretins that are attacking her and attacking science have to go.

Not to mention that everyone's else's civil liberties are at stake when these pandering politicians snatch liberty from hero citizens for political gain. Their authoritarianiam is leaking out for all to see, the lack of compassion and lack of insight are astoundingly crystal clear to all. Take liberty so casually from one, you all will be next.

Vote them all out, there is no time for these fact deniers and bullies and cowards in a land of the free and brave. The nation and its constitutional protections exist in part to keep fascists from the gate, not let prance right in and off the hook.

Close the gate, let science in, keep the ebola governors and ebola politicians and barbarians at the gate out.

Barbarian ebola governor Lepage will cave by noon, you watch, science does not tolerate fools well.

Close the gate, slam it on their ignorant beaks....VOTE.

You are with Tyson or you are against him.

The GOP and the spineless Democrats like Cuomo have nothing but contempt for people.

I very much hope that Dr. Spencer is doing well in his fight with this dread disease. I wish him and his family and friends all the best. He s a true hero and has done far more than any of these grandstanding politicians to protect the American public from this infectious disease.

Keep posting, Fred.

Any ideas on ways to get the term Ebola Governors get more attention?

The CDC provides risk assessments and recommendations, but ultimately, the governor is responsible for public safety. As such, it's his call.

There is more to managing risk than just science. If the consequences associated with the risk are severe enough, than even a very small risk is not justified. The governors recognize this and it's not clear to me that the CDC has even considered it. I support the governors.

The general level of liberty permitted of the military versus civilians has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the actual medical science of infectiousness and contagion and whether the asymptomatic troops, which we are told had a demonstrably lower exposure to the virus than the civilian aid workers, are more or less a danger to the public.

You have repeatedly demanded that we follow only the science in making quarantine determinations. I mostly agree. Therefore, why are you giving a pass to the White House and Pentagon concerning the quarantined soldiers?

what about a cop putting you in back of his car for two hours.

No other information supplied. Just gross pictures being sent to you if they don't like your answer

What do quarantines for public health and welfare have to do with elective abortions or police detainment?

In any event, I don't support the quarantines for either the soldiers or returning aid workers if the science really doesn't support it, and want an actual medical explanation from the White House as why the troops warrant quarantine but not the civilians. To the extent it's relevant, I also do not support abortion waiting periods and cannot offer an opinion about police detention without a far more detailed factual scenario, particularly given it's a extensive and complicated area of constitutional law.

All the experts say differently. Zero need for such draconian quarantines.

Anybody who supports such a thing is ignoring the science and is giving in to fear mongering ignorance.

So say ALL the experts, including the ones at the front lines.
