Senate: We lose WV, SD, MT., CO, LA and AR, We hold onto to IA, NC and AK because of superior GOTV efforts. Roberts loses in KS but I don't know if the Independent will caucus with us.Governor: We pick up ME, PA, MI, FL and KS but lose AR and MA. Quinn hangs on in IL by the skin of his teeth. Parnell loses in AK to the Independent.

I'm not as doom as gloom as the DNC and DSCC emails that I get are trying to convince me.

(14,755 posts)4. Nunn (maybe), Carter (not a chance)
Carter will be Governor someday, but not now.

Land is being crushed. Thank goodness.

(46,436 posts)3. Parnell is definitely toast in Alaska,
barring unforeseen election shenanigans. The National Guard scandal gets worse and worse. Here he's being thrown under the bus by his own appointee. http://www.adn.com/article/20141030/former-parnell-aide-alaska-national-guard-something-just-didn-t-seem-right
I'm fine with independent Bill Walker, as he has a Democratic running mate who is also Alaska Native. Natives have been under-represented here, so this is a good step, in my opinion.
