(16,199 posts)1. A temporary order was issued, then a final ruling.
The temporary order kept her away from people, then the judge issued the final order after hearing the facts, and that tanked the quarantine. She only needs to stay local to be monitored, which the nurse always planned to do.
The decision from a district judge in the northeastern state of Maine is the latest twist in a bitter row over enforced quarantine of American medics returning from relief work in West Africa.
It reversed a temporary order that prevented her from visiting cinemas and shopping centers, and demanded she keep three feet away from others while Judge Charles LaVadiere examined the case.

Also note the article refers to "isolation, " which has not been a consideration since she left NJ

(3,121 posts)4. When I went to Yahoo the only story they are show is the Isolation one. No sign of the final judge
ment.
I see what you mean about the time stamp now. Sorry. But isn't it strange that the older story is in the headline rotation and the newer final judgement story didn't come up.
Thanks.

(22,165 posts)5. Sorry for the terse original answer ...
I started to answer and then "crazy teens in the house" stuff came up and distracted me. I should have self deleted instead of hitting "post"
