Democrat Alison Lundergan Grimes has filed for an immediate injunction to stop Mitch McConnell from sending out a mailer that is designed to keep people from voting on Election Day.

(5,400 posts)A bit off topic but I also wonder about voting by mail. I can imagine a fanatical boss reminding his workers to vote early, and then a few sycophants showing him their ballots. Same thing with voting over the internet. (Boss looking over ones shoulder)
Between Citizen's United, and the overall attitude in general, there's a fantasy land that some people live in where they think they are entitled to votes. (Not that our party doesn't take our votes for granted at times)
So, long story short, it's line in the sand time, all the time, when it comes to voting. I'm hoping for a huge stink arising from this.

(146,254 posts)I doubt it will inhibit anyone from voting. It's stupid, of course, and clearly a product of Republican dirty campaigning, but I can't see it as any more effective than the "Democratic Voters Go To Polls on Wednesday" nonsense.
