has early voting, so I stopped by the library on Saturday a week or so back on my way home from running up to the State Fair Grounds to bring my husband the medication he'd forgotten to take that morning in his rush to get to the train show and voted. It was lovely. I walked right in, was checked in, escorted to a machine, made my choices, checked my ballot, pushed the 'confirm' button and voted. On my way out, I thanked some of the poll workers for giving up their Saturday so that I could vote.

Over 120 voters at my polling place by 9AM (2 precincts vote there.) I suspect that the turnout reflects infighting among the local Republicans over the Highway Superintendent.
