Rachel made a very interesting point last night about two term Presidents

Since Ike there has not been a single two term President that did not have to face a Congress from the opposition Party. The last two years of Reagan both Houses of Congress were controlled by Democrats. The last two years of Clinton both Houses were controlled by Republicans. The last two years of Bush* the two Houses of Congress were controlled by Democrats. So by precedent and Logic it should not be a bit surprising if the last two years of Obama the two Houses would be controlled by Republicans. It would be a historical upset if somehow the Democrats were to hold onto the Senate. That being said, things have a way of changing...

of slime ball tactics, hatred, obstruction, infinite anti-funding from Koch and others - so far, six years of a platform from the right of "make Obama fail".
