Just back from my shift at the polls.

I set up the Democratic table, put up all the signs and handed out literature. I voted at 7:30 am, (later than my normal 6:15-6:30 am time) and was voter #305. That's a much higher than normal turnout, but admittedly it is hard to predict based on the early morning voters.

GOTV, DU.

I was #501 @ 9:15am. They usually have just a single line, but today they had 3 lines by alphabet & were super-efficient in getting us through.

Something's going on. I don't have a clue about exactly what that something is.

From what we could tell,in our area of Vegas, the lines were steady three four people waiting. Over in the Richy part of town, the Rethugs did a big door to door and their turn out was big for early voting. What we have noticed is the Latino voters are not showing up. Immigration is on their minds.
