General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsIs anyone on the MSM talking about a large turnout?
I'm reading here there are large turnouts and that is good for us. All week they were saying on the MSM that turnout is the key to victory. At some point that rubs against the meme that Dem's are losers.
I'd like to go home feeling positive.

(106,886 posts)DUer kentuck mentioned a big turn out in that state in a post here. It's after 6 PM on the East Coast. A little early for results but there may be some turn out mention.

(9,951 posts)...they are repeating stuff about what the Democrats did wrong. The "Hardball" host seems to have led the discussion, so far.

(6,960 posts)All of the panelists seem to be operating under the assumption that Democrats are going to get blown-out.
Unfortunately, I have to agree with the panelists about how Democrats just are not very good at bragging on their own successes. For the 2014 election, I think Democrats should have been talking their own version of 'Morning Again in America' ... but instead they mostly micro-targeted voting blocks and ran totally local races.
In my state, Colorado, Udall may lose and if he does it is because he didn't do much else but run on birth control. Really. What he had done in the U.S. Senate for the past six years was hardly mentioned.

MN Sec. of State projects a voter turnout between 55-60 percent. | http://cbsloc.al/10jtUD9
And a clerk in Kentucky just commented on a big Democratic turnout. - This was just on CNN under 1 minute ago.
