Only a couple of them are because an individual doesn't really care about voting. Being smug about having voted is only displaying one's ignorance of their own privilege.

...had problems with their registration, maybe have felonies on their record, couldn't afford photo ID, or didn't vote for any one of a dozen different reasons having little to do with ignorance or apathy have no right to complain?
