65 and older, white, affluent males and 65 and older, white, non-college educated males are the only demographics he's really winning. But in FL that's enough.

(14,337 posts)Don't forget that. My white, 65+ husband's vote for Scott, is negated by MY vote for Crist. Oh, and don't forget the HISPANIC male and female votes either.

(6,342 posts)Miami-Dade and Broward I'm hoping are the counties that haven't fully reported yet. If true, there may be a bunch of Crist votes there and the gap should close. But it's going to be close...

A difference of 123,491 with only 20% of Broward County reporting in. Broward is dark blue, as is Palm Beach and the I-4 corridor between Tampa and Orlando.

I voted here in Broward County. The ballot is six pages long and written in three or four different languages.
It is easy to miss the little fill-in bubble in the right space. I don't think it was intentional, but you had to proofread your ballot carefully. I had to redo one page. That's taking a bit of time, so the lines probably got a little long. If you ask me it's the voters' own fault for not voting early. We had two full weeks to early vote this time. I voted on the 20th and there was no line at all. 10 minutes in and out.

(2,101 posts)here is a site with the real numbers:
http://enight.elections.myflorida.com/CountyReportingStatus/
There are some large blue counties that have not completed their absentee numbers; Pinellas, Palm Beach, Miami-Dade, etal. Precincts complete is at 80%. This circus is painful to watch, but there is still hope.

(36,257 posts)about 180,000 votes still out; Crist needs a margin of 90,000 -- ie needs 75% of all outstanding votes. Looks like it's not gonna happen. Hard to believe that so many people could have voted for an obvious creep like Scott.
