With 20% counted Braley (D) leads Ernst (R) in Iowa 53% to 43%

I'm thinking this may be like Nevada in 2010. Harry Reid wasn't popular but he faced a wing nut in the general election.

The biggest Democratic strongholds come in first, in Iowa. Braley had a lead in these areas, but it looks like it might not be enough to offset the huge deluge of rural, rightwing teahadist votes that will roll in.

Braley needs to win in POLK County by 20 percentage points to offset those red, rural votes.

He's only ahead by 10.

Thinking positive...but it doesn't look good.
