Just think of how much worse tonight would have been if

Howard Dean had been running the DNC. We might have won many more races, but there'd doubtless have been partisanship, competent campaigning, and unhelpful vocalizations played over and over by the news media.

Ewww.

I believe we all owe a debt of gratitude to one Debbie Wasserman Schultz (and her photogenic doggies) for keeping this from being a bad night. This campaign season was clean, fair, and I dare say it's begun to move the domestic animal Overton Window from cats back to dogs.

Huzzah!

Regards,

Third-Way Manny

Dean planted seeds with his 50-state strategy that grew and allowed us to take back control of the state in 2006. Tonight what those seeds grew lies shambles in the shadow of a smug Republican governor and party who should have never been in the first place back in 2010.

I've got no use for Debbie Wasserman Schultz. She's done zero for us here.

We needed more than that with the power of positive thinking brought to us by CEOs and investment bankers of the thrid way... :eye:

Have you ever notice that the third way logo is a compass pointing north, but a compass only has two points and not three? Even their logo is misleading.

...tell us EXACTLY how the "50 State Strategy" was eliminated. By the fact the Dean stopped serving as Chair? Do you know for a fact that his State Party development policies were changed or eliminated? Or was Dean the ONLY Democrat clever enough to pull such a strategy off?

I miss Dr. Dean like hell, just was saying so to the mister coming out of the voting booth today.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz's leadership did go to the dogs (poor dogs, they don't deserve it).

Obama is unpopular, watch out dems...

Was there ever any doubt that it would?

Sometimes I think it is all a scripted drama they make up to keep us dazed and confused....a daily soap opera...As The Political World Turns.

But the story will continue...for the next two years the drama will be told again, and we will have to cough up some money to keep the bad guys at bay.

It should have been crushed as bullshit by every candidate.

We Refused To Run United.
Stand together or fall separately.
That was the moral of one of Aesop's fables.
It is one of the foundations of western civilization.

There was a concerned effort to be stupid, we worked hard for the debacle.

But you know what, here is what will be convenient, now The Hillarites can push the "only Hillary can save us" mantra. Yes, it's coming to a meme near you very soon. Look for the pompoms to go out in the next few days because the stage is set.

...sinister, isn't it? It can only be because he was effective.

He helped connect, validate, empower and grow the Base. And Dem leaders don't like or want to be accountable to that constituency. Their constituency, once in power, and since the DLC strategy was brought in by the Clintonistas, is to align with their big donors, and turn towards Wall Street. Period.

Dean's banishment was our own.
