The Dems that lost would've done no worse had they embraced Obama.

Instead of running from him and ducking everything involving him. A loss is a loss is a loss regardless of the margin. Grimes got her butt kicked - I'm pretty sure she would've gotten her butt kicked even with admitting to voting Obama.

Eh. Whatever.

They allowed the media and the GOP to convince people that Obama accomplished nothing good.

They let the republicans and the media control the message. "Obama is bad. He's a failure." The democrats just laid down and took it.

No one touted his success with the economy, jobs, the deficit, stock market, etc.
He's been quite successful, but NO ONE is talking about it. I'm steaming!

If going to his side were the right strategy, the ads themselves would have backfired.

Instead of pushing back, they chose to cower to them.

That's why they lost.

Running away from Obama's record was a mistake, it's there and people are rightly or wrongly going to judge Democrats by it.

Way to spit on your base and get them fired up to vote for you. No wonder she lost by 16 points. She needed a heavy margin of victory in Jefferson county to have any chance and refusing to say she supported the Democratic President did not help her one bit.

As Letterman said..

"Monologue is over - one worthwhile thing to mention if you didn't see it....

I will paraphrase if you don't mind:

"Republicans don't like the President, even the Democrats running don't want him anywhere near him....

"Gasoline is less than $3 a gallon, unemployment is under 6%, and the Stock Market is breaking records,.....

No wonder everyone's mad at him.."

Now why can't the Dem candidates say that same thing over and over for the last month..?"

fuck themselves. Obama did not send the economy into a recession, he didn't get his dick sucked by an intern and lie about it, he didn't invent a war out of whole cloth and kill 4000 soldiers for nothing. There was no reason to run away from him--none. Fuck all the losers who didn't embrace him. Oh, and for jackholes like Leon Panetta, coming out of the woodwork to attack Obama as a leader during the entire month of October and then skulking back to his walnut farm with a smile on his face...burn in hell, old man.
