That's what I am not so sure about. They had zero to offer during the campaign, yet were elected anyway. Will it matter?

This election is proof that for whatever reasons a large chunk of the American populace are dumb as rocks and easily led by hallow emotional propaganda.

Stronger leadership and a better presentation of our accomplishments and our goals can help get people motivated. Instead we run from our own platform.

3. I don't think being 100% responsible for getting things done in Congress will make the GOP look good

Either they'll try to do things that normal people don't actually want, or they'll do nothing and won't be able to blame Democrats. The next two years will not do them any favors. The red meat that Fox viewers have been feeding on has just been removed from the cage, leaving a few Obama-shaped scraps behind but that's all.

This sucks A LOT but I am SO GLAD that it's 2014 and not 2016.
