Something else really really bad happened in MO

We now have a constitutional amendment that will allow prior bad acts to be considered during trials. The language suggests that it will only apply to sexual abuse of children, but I think it's a very ugly slippery slope. So scary!!

I think Kennedy could be counted on to rule against it. But, there are all kinds of ugly scenarios that I could dream up. If a few idiots in MO unleashing this across the nation I will blame one guy.
During a forum where people presented their positions on the amendments a guy used the phrase "a woman scorned" to cite an example of what could go wrong.

Text of the amendment--

If passed, the measure would allow relevant evidence of prior criminal acts, also known as propensity evidence, to be admissible in court in prosecutions of sexual crimes involving a victim under 18 years old.
