Have you seen the film "Idiocracy"? This would be a good time to watch it.

This movie represents the future that corporate controlled America is bringing the world. The United States is no longer a democracy. Corporations have bought and paid for the Congress, Presidency, Supreme Court, media, military, police forces, and local and state governments. The President doesn't have control over anything.......almost sounds like reality of our current situation!

Most people in this country don't even know the three branches of government, let alone who their representatives are. If they vote, it's in the sexy election, forget that one where the ballot is too complicated and besides, they don't know who that guy or gal is that's on that ballot. And what do those questions even mean????1111!!!

Our leadership in DC is determined by morons and old people who desperately cling to the bad old days. Those of us who actually pay attention are the minority, and it shows.

We have been 'played' and I can only hope that there is hope for the future. I'm now 75 years old and I don't know if I'll be able to see intelligence ever return....my husband and I saw "Idiocracy" and thought it was brilliant. Unfortunately, so much of that satire is coming true, I would not have thought such a horrifying situation would be possible in my younger days.
