Pardon my French, but I'm FLUMMOXED. I don't understand that vote. I don't know anyone who likes that ass.

(135,425 posts)onboard earlier with his endorsement swap--he could have helped the situation. But yeah...I think there might have been some prejudice at work there. It will be interesting to see how the votes were distributed. I'm guessing the northern and rural bits of ME went very red.
It's sad when otherwise reasonable people do stupid shit and re-elect lunatics.

As early as yesterday morning, I had a strong sense of foreboding. In my 20+ years of living in this rural red town, I had never seen that many people at the polls. And for a midterm, no less! I think the bear baiting referendum had a lot to do with it. As I stood in line (yes, there was a line) and looked around, I thought to myself that this cannot be good... It felt like TBagger central in there. Ugh!
